What does the online offer include?
You get access to a scalable and professional cloud infrastructure that includes: hosting of the service, incremental backups twice a day on two different servers, email integration, external software integration like collaborative note pad, 24/7 monitoring and a control center to manage your PeePERP environment. We upgrade your PeePERP instance periodically (about once a month) so that you always benefit from new features at no extra cost.
How do I know if PeePERP will fit my business needs?
PeePERP is extremely flexible and offers numerous configuration options, enabling most small and medium companies to use PeePERP without customization. How do you define a paying user?
A user is defined as an employee or a supplier who has or will have access to PeePERP Apps in create and/or edit mode. External users (such as clients or suppliers who are portal users) are not counted in the number of users. For example:
- An employee who reports their expenses or timesheet is counted as a user;
- A third party accountant who uses PeePERP to work on your numbers will be counted as a user;
- Customers and suppliers that have access to their invoices online will NOT be counted as users;
- Visitors to the PeePERP website will NOT be counted as users.
One or more users wishing to use our Business Packs will pay the corresponding charges.
What is an PeePERP App bundle?
An PeePERP App bundle is made up of one or more certified modules, related to a common business domain. A certified module is a computer program authored by PeePERP SA, released online and made available to our online and on-premise customers. An PeePERP App is usually a "main" module that includes the core features and a configuration screen where additional features can be enabled.
What does standard access include?
Standard access (excluding customized apps) allows you to access PeePERP Apps in their standard and official version. We provide you functional support in order to help you use your PeePERP Apps for your day to day tasks. This support is provided 24/5, in English through email and live chat.
What do the Implementation Services include?
The Implementation services include a package of premium services on top of the Standard Pack. During the implementation phase, you will have an PeePERP Project Manager assigned to you to analyse your requirements and configure your PeePERP Apps according to your needs. The consultant will also train you on how to use the PeePERP Apps, coaching you on how you can use PeePERP's functions and features to grow your business. The Business Pack also guarantees that you evolve as PeePERP does - both maintenance and upgrade of the customization is done for you by an PeePERP consultant.
What do you mean by "coaching and requirement analysis"?
Before implementation, our consultant will analyze the way your business runs and suggest the best way to use PeePERP. We will handle all configuration and coach you on how to use PeePERP. This service is organized through planned sessions (over the telephone or online) where our consultant will carry out a more indepth analysis of your needs to see what can be improved in line with the existing functional possibilities of the official PeePERP Apps. We will provide you with continuous training so that you are always able to use the latest version of PeePERP Apps.
What's the email and live chat support? How can I use it?
We want you to have the best experience with PeePERP, that's why we provide functional support to our online customers (paid subscriptions only). So if you are having any issues, you can contact us through live chat (directly from your PeePERP environment if you're using v8) or by email (email@example.com). We will work hard to find the best solution for your issue. Our support teams are available Monday to Friday, 24/5, in English. This service does not include technical support. Development questions or features covered by the technical features group cannot be answered by our functional support team.
What does Customized Apps mean?
Customized Apps are the version of the Standard Apps that we adapt to your needs through changes in the standard screens, reports or workflows, within the existing functional possibilities of the PeePERP Apps. Customized Apps give you access to a fully-customized version of PeePERP Apps, with fields, reports and screens tailored to your needs. In addition, with the Customized apps options, our consultants will carry out these customizations for you. Most importantly, we guarantee to maintain these changes and upgrade them with each PeePERP upgrade. Customization does not include ad hoc development work.
Are apps interdependent and does this impact pricing?
Each Apps bundle is designed to work as independently as possible. If you decide to activate certain functionalities of an App this may result in the installation of another App. Example: you currently use the Project app to manage your projects, tasks and planning. If you need to encode timesheets, you will have to activate the functionality "Record timesheet lines per tasks". As a result, the Human Resources app will be installed, as timesheet is an integral part of the HR functionalities. As soon as you activate this timesheet functionality, you will then be invoiced for Projects and Human Resources app bundles.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes, we can set up your own domain name for PeePERP Standard or Business (paid subscriptions only), e.g: www.mycompany.com. We can also manage email addresses.
What if I have custom needs that require developments and ad hoc integration?
For advanced needs, such as custom development, you can work with us or an official PeePERP partner. Our official partners offer project management services, PeePERP developments, training and on-premise installation and integration services. Developments carried out by us are charged per day of consulting. Partners usually charge for their services per day of consulting or development.
Is it better to use PeePERP online or on-premise?
Generally speaking, the same price applies for using PeePERP online as on-premise installation (i.e. hosted on a server you own or rent) - except for the price per app (not per user), which is not charged. PeePERP s.a. and official partners on our website are the only parties that can offer an PeePERP Enterprise contract. However, if you use the free version on-premise, we don't offer any of the upgrades/bug fix services that we do for the online version. For paid on-premise versions, the price does not include the actual on-premise installation. This can be done at an extra cost. The upgrades for an on-premise installation are included in the PeePERP Enterprise contract and performed on demand, while online they are available immediately for all users. As such, we encourage you to use the online version, unless you have very specific requirements.
Can I easily switch from a hosted to an on-premise plan (or the other way around)?
- If you use PeePERP Standard or PeePERP Customized in our cloud infrastructure, you can download a backup at any time through the control center. We don't try to lock our customers in, you own your data.
- Our cloud infrastructure runs on the latest version of PeePERP following a monthly upgrade. On-premise users must use the latest stable version of PeePERP. So, if you want to switch from PeePERP online to PeePERP on-premise, the easiest way is to do it just as we release a new stable version.
- We also provide a service to help you switch from PeePERP on-premise to PeePERP online. In this case, we charge a one-off fee of 2 days of consultancy to migrate your data to our cloud infrastructure.
What is the Data Importation Service?
We take care of importing your data at a fixed cost per file to import (e.g. customers, products, price lists, etc.)
The requirements are:
- You must deliver us one spreadsheet per file, containing the data you want us to import;
- Data must be provided in CSV or Excel
The import service does not cover data entering or data cleaning (duplicated data, missing information, etc.), so we strongly recommend that you check your data when extracting it, prior to sending it to us.
What does Custom Design include?
We take care of modifying the PeePERP standard website to a theme of your choice (we do design changes like colors, pictures, fonts, etc. on static pages).
The requirements are:
- You should provide us with your finalized graphic charter (provide the design PSD (bitmap) or Bootstrap compatible HTML). You can take it from your existing website or search for a theme (for example on https://wrapbootstrap.com/)
- Two iterations granted, means that we will make changes to your delivered design up to two times.
The optional service for Marketing or eCommerce Apps covers changes of layout on the corresponding pages (e.g. change the fields layout on your eCommerce, Blog or Event page).
The Custom Design service does not include development of new functionalities on the website (these can be done on quotation and after analysis by the consultant).
